“We live for each other”
Alpha Delta Pi was founded in 1851 with the goal of unifying collegiate women. Since this time, our open motto, "We live for each other," has signified our life-long friendship and dedication to sisterhood. At WSU, our chapter strives to create a supportive and encouraging environment for our members and within the Panhellenic community as a whole. We focus on empowering our women through our strong values, academic commitment, philanthropical pursuits, leadership, and community involvement. We place high emphasis on compassion, humor, and loyalty within our sisterhood, and we encourage our sisters to be the best versions of themselves professionally and interpersonally. Alpha Delta Pi was established upon four principles: scholarship, leadership, service to others, and sisterhood. To date, more than 210,000 women have been initiated into the sisterhood and many remain active in our over 137 collegiate chapters and 150 alumnae associations.
